Together we can make things happen
If you have an idea, be it for a new local business, a regular board game afternoon, an event, or a complete re-invention of a community building, your fellow residents and the Marsh and Micklefield staff team can help you to bring it to life.
We may also be able to help you access some of the Big Local funds. Get in touch to talk about your ideas by clicking the button below.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has”
Funding
Residents and groups can access funds of up to £500 from the Marsh and Micklefield team, and larger amounts though a process of consulting the wider community.
The Royal British Legion on Cock Lane were awarded a grant for £2380 in April 2021, for a new branded Marquee:
‘We would like to Thank Marsh and Micklefield big local for the grant. The Marquee will be used for ongoing promotion and recruitment within the community of The Royal British Legion.
We are currently working on the sign writing. Once we have the design proof we will send that out so everyone can see what it will look like.
Once the Marquee is received we hope to have the opportunity to attend events such as schools fetes. We will also be using it on Remembrance Sunday to provide some shelter in the cold and wet usually experienced in November.’
