About Chiltern Rangers
We provide practical habitat management with the help of volunteers, community organisations and businesses. We can also provide extensive site management plans & advice including how to make successful grant applications. We go that extra step and can help you to implement these plans to improve your woodland/chalk grassland for wildlife.
As
a social enterprise, we provide enriching experiences with local
communities to conserve and enhance the local environment. Based in High
Wycombe, we operate in and around the Chilterns Area of Outstanding
Natural Beauty (AONB) primarily, but not exclusively, in South Bucks. We
manage 13 woodlands, including 3 Local Nature Reserves (LNR’s), for
Wycombe District Council.
We work in partnership at a range of
sites and nature reserves for other landowners in the public, private
and third/charitable sectors including Butterfly Conservation & The
Woodland Trust.
